Parking is rather limited in this area, so there is a limit on race entries. We rely on the cooperation of land owners, so please park sensibly. There is one official parking area at High Bridge End Farm (50 cars?). During winter we are able to park on the campsite as it's closed for the season, but for the summer edition of the race we aren't able to use the same parking as the campsite will be in use. Two other public parking areas owned by United Utilities also in the area with toilets. My advice is to try and share transport AND\OR cycle\run\walk in from the public car parks when the registration parking is full. Weather will play a major part with regards the parking at the farm as it's on a field.
- Registration (High Bridge End Farm, off the A591). £2 per car, with space for about 50 cars. Toilets at the UU carpark about 400 m at Legburthwaite (see map).
- Area 1 - (Legburthwaite) has public toilets available and to park here may incur a small charge. It is open to the public so the amount of space will vary, but about 15 cars. It is 400 m to registration and 1.4 km to the start.
- Area 2 - There is a public carpark with space for about 50 cars with toilets about 2 km down the race route (Armboth) from the start and a little further from registration. It'll either be a good warm-up/down or a short bike journey to get to registration - I'd bring a bike!
